Please take some time to investigate the links below.  They describe some additional notable projects that we have been involved in the construction of over the past several years.

This link takes you to the "Your New House" television show website.  The page features a streaming video and transcript of a segment featuring Alan Hoffmann and a home he built using insulated concrete forms.  The segment originally aired on the Discovery Channel.

On this episode of Your New House, an award winning home Mr. Hoffmann built is featured.  The segment features Michael Holigan and Alan Hoffmann installing a unique metal roofing system.

Michael Holigan's "Your New House" features another home built by Mr. Hoffmann in a video segment that illustrates the use of a unique air conditioning system.

Forms is featured on the Portland Cement Associations website.  The perimeter walls were built with Insulated Concrete Forms with the interior walls, floor joists, and roof framing were built with cold-formed light gauge steel (another first for Plano).

These links discuss the supporting technical data for the advantages and
superior qualities of concrete homes.

The Alan Hoffmann Company is working with the USGBC on a pilot home project. The home, designed by Mr. Hoffmann, will be one of the first homes to be certified in Texas under a new certification offered by the U.S. Green Building Council. The new program is called “LEED for Homes”. LEED stands for “Leadership in Efficiency and Environment Design.” Find more about LEED and the U.S. Green Building Council, by visiting their website.

When I complete the construction of any home for my clients, I recommend that they not introduce toxic chemicals in the form of everyday household cleaners. I suggest the use of non-toxic products for the cleaning and care of their new home as well as their current home. The best products that I have found are from a company that has been a leader in creating healthy home environments for over fifty years. To learn more about these great products, or to place your order, visit this website.
